Founded in 1973, Dexter Companies is a second-generation, Atlanta-based real estate firm specializing in opportunistic investment, development, and advisory services. Since the 1980s, the firm has focused primarily on industrial real estate throughout the Southeastern United States. Leadership

Blake Dexter
Blake Dexter manages operations, finance, investments, development, and business development. With over 20 years of real estate experience—and a lifelong connection to the industry—he maintains the firm’s client-centric philosophy.
Previously, Blake advised clients on leasing and investment sales at a national real estate firm where he was a top producer. He began his career in the technology sector, holding management and executive roles for over seven years.
Blake holds an MBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management and a BA in international business from Denison University. An Atlanta native, Blake is a member and former board member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF) and member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Allan Anderson
Allan is a highly experienced commercial real estate advisor specializing in assisting businesses and investors in their pursuit of industrial properties. He is a relationship broker who provides client support well beyond the typical agent due to his deep background in development, construction, and property management. Raised in the building business by his consulting engineer/commercial contractor father, Allan’s expertise was bolstered through direct involvement in the ground-up development of more than 35 commercial/industrial buildings, as well as thousands of lease and sale transactions.
Allan began his career at Adams-Cates Realtors (now Newmark) in office and industrial tenant representation as well as industrial/ business park project leasing. This diverse background including both landlord and tenant representation instills Allan with unique perspective in creating superior deal outcomes for his clients in the millions of square feet of sale and lease transactions he has completed.
A CCIM Designee (Certified Commercial Investment Member), Allan is a multi-state licensed broker, a member and past board member of REGA (Real Estate Group of Atlanta) and an active member of the Georgia Chapter of NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties). An Atlanta native, Allan attended Centre College in Kentucky and is a graduate of Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia where he received his BBA in Real Estate and Finance.
